get waxed?

As my trip to Santa Monica grows near, 9 days (woo hoo!), I have a growing list of everything that must get done before then. Grocery shop for Jake and the kids. Pack. Make airplane worthy snacks. Manicure. Pedicure. And get waxed!

Over the weekend, in between lots of eating and shopping, I visited Urban Waxx in Northwest Portland. After I got my green smoothie at Greenleaf Juice Bar (fantastic by the way), I headed over to 18th and Marshall for my appointment.

Immediately I was greeted and offered something to drink while I checked in. Tea, water or a mimosa! And while I filled out the paperwork, I may or may not have visited their candy bar several times. I can't pass up M&M's!

The place is absolutely adorable and Adriana put me right at ease. She was fantastic, a true professional, and guided me through the whole process including the correct tips for getting the most out of your wax. I left with the serious serum after care kit, a new pink tweezerman and Butter nail polish. Thanks Adriana, see you soon!
