Edible Flower Tea Popsicles

Makes 10

Ingredients:

3 cups of water

4 bags of black tea

⅓ cup of honey (maple syrup would work great too)

1 pint of edible flowers, washed, and stems removed (*see notes)

If the flower has more of a sturdier texture then I will remove the petals and use. Otherwise more delicate flowers, you can simply remove the green stems and use the flowers whole.

Directions:

In a small saucepan bring water to a boil, remove from the heat and stir in honey and add tea bags. Allow to steep for 8-10 minutes. While the tea is steeping, wash and prepare the flowers.

Add the flowers to the popsicle molds, about 3-4 per popsicle. Top with tea leaving ⅛” on top. Place lid on popsicle mold and insert sticks. Allow to freeze overnight.
