Savory Apple Sausage Bread Pudding
Is Thanksgiving seriously 2 weeks away! How did that happen? I swear in October I was all let's plan early and be prepared this year. Not sure what happened in November. Because all I can think about is Christmas! Recipes, gifts, DIYs, the snow (coming this week!), prepping for the snow. Yikes. So it is time to get serious and down to business. With a little over 2 weeks away, let's talk Thanksgiving recipes! (PS, I totally listened to Mariah Carey Christmas music yesterday).
I recently made this Savory Apple Sausage Bread Pudding for The Fruit Company, and it's simply perfect. We enjoyed it for dinner. And then for breakfast. I think it would be the perfect substitute for stuffing on Thanksgiving. Or a pretty amazing recipe for brunch the day after!
It is filled with honeycrisp apples, pork sausage (sweet or spicy, your choice!), extra sharp cheddar cheese, sage and thyme. It is flavorful, crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and total comfort food. Go here for the full recipe!
Here are a few other Thanksgiving recipes I have been loving:
Kale & Shiitake Mushroom Stuffing
Smoked Whitefish Dip with Horseradish (appetizer!)
This stuffing!
Kabocha Squash Pie with Black Pepper and Ginger
